Evidence policy

Research is the brand moat.

Healthopathy can cover modern studies, traditional systems, and frontier geroscience, but it must label evidence clearly and protect readers from hype.

Source hierarchy

1Official public health guidance
2Systematic reviews and meta-analyses
3Large human trials and cohorts
4Smaller clinical studies
5Mechanistic, animal, or cell research
6Traditional practices clearly labeled as traditional

Evidence labels

Strong

Official guidance, multiple high-quality human studies, or broad expert consensus.

Moderate

Useful human evidence, but with limits in population, size, duration, or consistency.

Emerging

Promising early human data or strong biological plausibility that needs more proof.

Traditional

Long-standing cultural practice presented respectfully without claiming clinical proof.

Speculative

Mechanistic, animal, influencer, or early-stage claims that should not drive major decisions.

Avoid

Claims or products with safety, legality, deception, or evidence problems.
